Key Feature 01

CNC-Ready Right Out of the Box

Other plasma cutters force a choice: buy a hand-torch machine now, then spend more when you automate. The CUT65MP ships with a built-in CNC interface and cable — your upgrade path is already included in the price.

Whether you're cutting custom brackets, metal signs, or structural components by hand today, the CUT65MP keeps your options open. When you're ready to step up to consistent, automated cuts on a CNC plasma table, the machine is already wired for it.

No adapter boxes. No aftermarket modifications. No guessing about compatibility. The CUT65MP uses a standard CNC signal interface and comes with the connection cable. Plug in and cut.

"Buy it for the torch in your hand today — keep it for the CNC table you'll connect to tomorrow."

Confirmed Compatible With

PlasmaCam Torchmate Langmuir Systems Mach3 LinuxCNC

Your Upgrade Path

NOW

Hand-torch cutting

Full manual control — cut signs, brackets, and custom shapes out of the box.

NEXT

Connect a CNC table

When volume grows, connect to any compatible table — the port and cable are already included.

RESULT

Automated, repeatable precision

Consistent cuts at production speed. No re-buy. Your original investment pays off twice.

Key Feature 02

One Machine, Four Modes — Cut, Gouge, Clean and More

Most shops keep separate tools for cutting, surface prep, and gouging. The CUT65MP handles all of it — and solves problems that standard plasma cutters simply can't.

MODE 01

Plasma Cutting

Clean, fast cuts on steel, aluminum, and more.

Cuts mild steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, and other conductive metals. Non-contact pilot arc starts cleanly on painted or rusted surfaces — no gouging, no mess.

Best For

Sheet metal, structural steel, custom parts, signs, and general shop cutting

MODE 02

Grid Cut Mode

Arc keeps dropping on grating and mesh? Not with this mode.

Stabilizes the arc across gaps, holes, and perforations. Standard machines stall and re-strike. Grid Cut Mode keeps cutting straight through without stopping.

Best For

Safety grating, livestock panels, chain-link, expanded metal, salvage work

MODE 03

Plasma Gouging

Back-gouge and bevel prep — no carbon rods needed.

Replaces carbon arc gouging for weld root removal and bevel prep. Less spatter, more control. No extra equipment, no setup change — same machine you cut with.

Best For

Weld root removal, bevel prep, repair work, removing old welds

MODE 04

Rust Removal Mode

Gets into corners where grinders can't reach.

Low-power sustained arc for surface cleaning and pre-weld prep. Reaches tight corners and recessed areas a grinder cannot access. Cleaner surface, stronger weld, fewer rejects.

Best For

Pre-weld cleaning, mill scale removal, farm equipment maintenance, structural repair prep

Key Feature 03

Dual Voltage — Start on 120V, Step Up to 240V When You're Ready

Works on a standard household outlet right out of the box. Switch to 240V in your shop and the CUT65MP opens up to 3/4" clean cut capacity — no hardware change, just a different plug.

Clean Cut

Severance

1/2" / 13mm

Start cutting the same day it arrives — no electrician, no special wiring, just plug into a standard 120V outlet. When your shop is wired for 240V or you add a dedicated circuit, switch plugs and you're at full capacity.

What 3/4" clean cut means in practice: structural tube, flat bar, angle iron, checker plate — the everyday stock most small fab shops and farm operations run through regularly. Not a slow, babied edge. A clean, production-quality cut.

The 1-1/4" severance capacity covers thicker material when you need it — useful for demolition, salvage work, and heavy structural teardown. Two voltage options, one machine, no hardware changes.

Who It Is For

Four Real-World Scenarios — Which One Sounds Like You

The CUT65MP was built around how working people actually use a plasma cutter — not just how specs look on paper.

DIY & Garage Builder

Your First Serious Plasma Cutter

"I don't want to buy the wrong machine and outgrow it in a year."

Plug it into a 120V outlet and start cutting the same day. When your projects grow and you move to a proper 240V shop setup, the machine grows with you. The CNC interface means no re-buy when you eventually want to add a cutting table.

  • Works on 120V household power right out of the box
  • Large display with clear fault codes — no guessing when something trips
  • CNC-ready interface built in for when you upgrade
  • Four modes without buying four separate tools

Small Fabrication Shop

Production Reliability with Room to Scale

"I need it to run all day and not let me down mid-job."

The smart fan and multi-layer protection system were built for continuous commercial operation — not occasional hobby use. When orders grow and you're ready to automate, plug into your CNC table and go. No new machine, no retraining.

  • Plug-and-play with PlasmaCam, Torchmate, Langmuir, Mach3, LinuxCNC
  • Grid Cut Mode for grating and mesh — no arc interruptions
  • Plasma gouging built in — removes a separate tool from the floor
  • Smart cooling and protection system for all-day run cycles

Farm & Ranch Repair

Fix It Fast — Even When the Metal Is Old and Ugly

"Half the stuff I cut is rusty, bent, or full of holes."

Fencing, gates, cattle guards, and old equipment frames — farm metal is worn, irregular, and corroded. Grid Cut Mode keeps the arc stable across gaps and perforations. Rust Removal Mode preps corroded surfaces before you weld, in spots a grinder can't reach.

  • Grid Cut Mode for livestock panels, chain-link, and perforated stock
  • Rust Removal Mode cleans corroded surfaces without a grinder
  • Built-in air gauge with auto-drain — less to manage in the field
  • 240V capacity for heavy structural repair and thick plate

Small CNC Studio & Maker Shop

The Power Source Your Table Deserves

"I need a plasma source that won't be the bottleneck in my setup."

You have the table — or you're building one. The CUT65MP uses a standard CNC signal interface that ships with the machine, confirmed compatible with the most widely used DIY and production CNC platforms. Clean 3/4" cuts let your table run at its actual capability.

  • CNC cable and port included — no adapter boxes, no signal loss
  • Works with PlasmaCam, Torchmate, Langmuir, Mach3, LinuxCNC
  • 3/4" clean cut at 240V for production-quality output
  • Use handheld between CNC jobs — two workflows, one machine

Built-In Quality

The Details That Matter on a Long Workday

Larger Display and Built-In Air Gauge

A bigger screen means you can read current, voltage, and settings without leaning in or removing your helmet. The air pressure gauge is integrated into the panel with automatic moisture drain — no separate regulator, no extra hose running off the side of the machine.

Smart Cooling Fan — Runs Only When Needed

The fan activates on demand instead of running constantly. The result is noticeably quieter operation, less dust pulled through the internals, and longer component life over time. In a working shop environment, the difference is real — especially on jobs that run for several hours.

Multi-Layer Protection With Fault Codes

Over-heat, over-current, IGBT low-voltage, and input under-voltage protection are all built in. When any protection trips, the panel shows a specific fault code — not just a blinking light — so you know exactly what happened and what to check. Designed for continuous operation without constant supervision.

FAQ

  • The CUT65MP supports single-phase AC120V 50/60Hz and AC240V 50/60Hz dual voltage, compatible with major U.S. power standards. The machine automatically adapts to the connected power source, making it suitable for outdoor job sites, workshop installations, and mobile maintenance applications.

  • The output current range varies with input voltage:

    • 120V mode: 20–35A
    • 240V mode: 20–60A
  • The CUT65MP can cut a variety of metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, cast iron, and aluminum.
120V mode: Normal cutting up to 12mm, maximum 15mm
240V mode: Normal cutting up to 20mm, maximum 32mm

For thicker plates, it is recommended to use 50–60 psi air pressure and reduce cutting speed to improve cutting quality.

  • Gas pressure range: 0.2–0.5 Mpa (29–72 psi).
Recommended operating pressure for standard cutting, gouging, or rust removal: 0.4 Mpa (57.5 psi). Fine adjustment within the range can be made depending on material thickness and working mode.

  • Both models share identical core specifications and features, including gouging, arc maintenance rust removal, grid cutting, and Bluetooth APP control.

The main difference: CUT65MP comes standard with a CNC interface, enabling connection to automatic CNC cutting tables for both handheld and machine use. This makes it ideal for users who plan to start with manual operation and upgrade to automated production in the future.

  • The CNC interface allows direct connection to an automatic plasma cutting table for CAD-based automated cutting. It is ideal for batch production, complex shapes, and standardized parts processing.

Even if you currently use the machine manually, the CNC interface provides “future-proof expansion”—you can connect to a CNC system later without buying a new machine. CNC cutting also offers higher precision and stability for mesh or perforated materials compared to manual operation.

  • Yes, the CUT65MP can cut mesh, grating, patterned plates, and perforated materials. These open-structure materials can cause unstable plasma flow, so proper parameter adjustment is important:

    1. Enable arc maintenance mode to maintain non-contact arc start.
    2. Set output current to 30–40A, air pressure to 0.4 Mpa, and slightly reduce cutting speed.
    3. Keep the torch 3–5mm above the material. Leveraging arc maintenance stability prevents arc interruptions and sparks, improving cutting precision.
  • The CUT65MP uses a Non-HF (non-high-frequency) arc-start mode, which generates no electromagnetic interference and is compatible with CNC cutting systems. This provides more stable arc starting on rusted or grid plates, protecting both the equipment and consumable parts while improving operational safety and efficiency.

  • The post-flow function continues gas flow after cutting to clean the cut seam and prevent material oxidation. The post-flow duration automatically adapts to the output current—no manual adjustment is needed. Recommended durations:

    • 20–34A: 5 seconds
    • 35–45A: 8 seconds
    • 46–55A: 10 seconds
This effectively protects the consumable nozzle and improves cutting quality.
