Shipping Time

All orders are delivered within 10 business days unless delayed due to address verification issues or suspected fraudulent activity. We never ship during weekends or holidays. All shipments have real time tracking and verified tracking numbers so you can track your items 24/7 with delivery confirmation. Orders are shipped via UPS/USPS/Amazon Logistics. When shipped, orders will take 2-3 days to update tracking number. You will get a shipping confirmation once shipped.

We cannot be held accountable for the shipping carriers actions and cannot issue refunds for shipping charges for delayed packages.

Your equipment may be coming from the US, or Hong Kong, depending on the equipment purchased. Your specific delivery date will depend on the dispatch country and delivery address.

When will I receive my order?

Most items are usually shipped within 5-10 working days.

We do recommend allowing up to 3 weeks for your order in peak times, such as a special offer or promotion. Delivery times are beyond our control but rest assured that we only work with reliable welding manufacturers and suppliers to give you the best service.

How do I track my order?

ARCCAPTAIN Welder expressly warrants to all purchasers (“Buyer”) of all new welding and cutting equipment, helmet, and replacement parts (“Goods”) that Goods shall be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship which are discovered within the warranty period, subject to the disclaimers and limitations of the Statement. This warranty is void if the equipment has been subjected to improper installation and testing, improper care, unauthorized repair and modification, or abnormal operations.

Goods are intended for commercial and industrial users who are trained and experienced in the use and maintenance of welding equipment. Buyer's remedies shall be limited exclusively to those provided in this Statement. There are no express warranties other than those contained herein. Seller does not warrant any portion of the Goods not manufactured by Seller or its associates (whether or not specified by Buyer), but Seller shall assign to Buyer upon request all assignable warranties on product of Seller's suppliers related to such Goods. Seller does not warrant that it or the Goods are in compliance with any entity, organization or industry standards, guidelines, or procedures unless specifically contained in a writing signed by Seller.

REFUND POLICY

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

FAQs

The CUT55 MP requires a minimum of 60 PSI and at least 4–5 CFM of clean, dry air. We recommend a compressor rated at 90 PSI or higher with a tank of at least 20 gallons for sustained cutting. Oil-free compressors are preferred — if yours has an oil-lubricated pump, be sure to install the included air compressor filter to prevent oil mist from reaching the torch, which shortens consumable life significantly.

On 240V: clean cut up to 18mm (11/16"), maximum severance up to 26mm (1"). On 110V: clean cut is reduced to approximately 10mm (3/8"), maximum severance around 14mm (9/16"). For shop work on steel thicker than 3/8", always use 240V for the best cut quality and to protect the machine from overheating.

HF (High Frequency) plasma cutters use a high-voltage spark to start the arc, which generates electromagnetic interference. This can disrupt computers, CNC controllers, vehicle ECUs, and solar inverters nearby. The CUT55 MP uses a Non-HF blow-back start instead — the electrode retracts with air pressure to initiate the arc, producing zero radio-frequency interference. If you're working in an auto shop, near CNC equipment, or anywhere sensitive electronics are present, Non-HF is the safer choice.

The CUT55 MP uses IPT60 torch consumables (electrodes, nozzles, swirl rings, and shields). These are not compatible with AG60 consumables used by the CUT55 Prolux and CUT55 Pro. Do not mix them. IPT60 consumables are more heat-resistant and durable than the IPT40 series.

PA (Pilot Arc Delay) controls how long the pilot arc stays active before the main cutting arc transfers to the workpiece. Adjustable from 2 to 10 seconds. Use a longer delay when cutting rusty, painted, or coated metal — it gives the arc time to burn through surface contamination before full cutting begins.

PT (Post-Arc Time) is the post-flow time: after you release the trigger, the machine continues blowing air to cool the torch nozzle and electrode. Setting PT to 1–3 seconds significantly extends consumable life and prevents tip burn-back.

Plasma gouging uses a wider nozzle tip and a different angle to remove metal rather than cut through it — essentially carving a groove or channel. Common uses include removing old welds before re-welding, stripping rusted or damaged metal layers, and preparing joint edges (back-gouging). It's faster than angle grinding, produces less dust, and gives you more control over how much material you remove. To gouge, switch to the gouging mode on the LED display and use the appropriate gouging consumables (sold separately).

Yes. The CUT55 MP is dual voltage and includes a 240V-to-120V power adapter. On 110V it will run on a standard 20-amp outlet. However, cutting performance is reduced — maximum clean cut drops to about 3/8". For most home garage or light repair use this is adequate, but for production cutting of heavier steel, a 240V dryer or welder outlet will give you full 55A output and noticeably cleaner cuts.

No. The CUT55 MP does not have a machine torch port and is not compatible with CNC plasma tables. It is designed for hand-held cutting only. For CNC use, you would need a cutter with a machine torch interface and a CNC-compatible torch (typically a straight machine torch with a trigger relay connection). If CNC is a priority, please check our CNC-compatible models.

The CUT55 MP comes with a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If the unit fails due to a defect within the warranty period, Arccaptain will repair or replace the defective parts or the unit itself.
