This impact is awesome. Does as well as a milwaukee at a fraction of the cost. We'll built and works flawlessly.

Used it to pull mower blades off two riding mowers, was a struggle last time with hand tools and I was anxious to use it, made quick work both taking them off and putting them back on. Great piece of kit.

I was a little Skeptical at first but wow this is a great tool packs a punch. Well worth the money.

love it built better built than the dewalt 20volt 1/2 impact by far. love it only had the slim 20v power cell it would hands down know contest ,thats the only edge dewalt has over it is a slim power cell but far as power and quality and price arc captain is surpasses it by far

Arrived in perfect condition and exceeded my expectations seems to be very well built.

I always keep a good floor jack, impact gun, and lug sockets in my truck as I am the type of person who will always stop if I see someone on the side of the road with a flat tire. A couple times now I've stopped and realized my son had borrowed my impact and it had not made it back to my truck yet. I saw this impact kit and was a bit intrigued. I am very familiar with the Arccaptain brand for their welders and welding accessories (I own 2 of their welders, a plasma cutter, and several other accessories from Arccaptain and have been extremely impressed with absolutely all of them) but had not seen anything outside of welding items from them so this caught my attention and I figured I'd give it a shot. After receiving it, I charged up the batteries and looked everything over. Everything about this set seems to be good quality, durable, and well thought out (something I have come to expect from Arccaptain). My son and I took it outside and tried it out removing tires on everything from his car to my truck and both my trailers. This impact had absolutely no issue removing the lugs from everything we tried. The autostop feature was also nice as often, when lugs get broke loose they would quickly unthread and then get spun around for a moment on the end of the studs which creates friction on the lug nut and wheel stud causing wear. With the autostop, it slows down once the lug breaks loose. Absolutely amazing feature! I am beyond pleased with this set to the point that it is now my permanent "keep in the truck" set and I gave my old impact and sockets to my son so he has his own now. Another amazing product from Arccaptain!

I ordered this as a gift for my husband. He was very happy with it. Easy to use right out of the box and works great. It is not compatible with his other brand batteries but does come with 2 batteries that hold a good charge.

We received this a couple of days ago and my husband and I inspected and charged the batteries. The impact wrench is really nice and we love the fact that two batteries are included. The quality is solid and we are very happy with the weight, power, charging speed, and socket selections. This seems to be just as nice as a lot of more well-known name brand options we¡¯ve tried before. This will be helpful for us when changing out boat and truck tires. We don¡¯t plan to use this heavily, but are confident that this set is exactly what we need when we do have use for it.

Supplied in an attractive red and black plastic case with handle, it¡¯s packed with fitted medium density foam cut out to fit all the supplied parts: impact-wrench, two 4.0Ah batteries, a rapid battery charger, and 5 impact grade derp sockets. With a box cutter and a gold marker, i measured for and cut the foam, removing just a little bit, so now the case holds the wrench with battery attached, the sockets remain as-is, and it holds the second battery and there¡¯s some room for more accessories. I love it when kit-cases continue to be useful!

I¡¯ve used the impact-wrench to cut a number of holes with a knockout-punch set, up to 1?¡± so far. Also removed and replaced several wheels, two had stuck lug-nuts which were a breeze¡ª easy to unstick and remove. Using a 1/2 ¡° square drive to ?¡± hex drive adapter, I¡¯ve used a number of tools and attachments with no issues, and I¡¯m still on the first battery. The batteries are compatible with Makita of the same voltage, so that opens the possibility of choosing some Makita cordless tools, and using Makita or ArcCaptain batteries with either brand tools. Another bonus is that Makita is an established brand and batteries will be available.

The batteries are lithium technology so are lightweight for the amount of power they contain ¡ª 1# 9.3oz. The wrench with battery is a reasonable 5# 12.6oz. I think that¡¯s not too heavy given the amount of rotating force (torque) that it is capable of delivering ¡ª nominally 1000ft?lbs ¡ª the more mass it has, the less it tends to snap your hand under high loads. I think this tool is a pretty good value for the price right now, at about $130 it comes with case, two 4.0Ah batteries, 5 useful impact sockets, and of course the impact wrench.

This thing is a beast. Just about everything about it is awesome. Arccaptain knows how to make great products. The case is the second best thing, next to the impact drill itself. There are cool design elements that add to the aesthetically pleasing look of it. Only complaint I really can think of is the sockets that are included won't stay in the foam. Well, it does take a little effort to get them to come out of their spots; regular toting around, they will be fine. There is just a bit too much space on the top that allows them to get free. The case and parts of the impact wrench (like the forward/reverse switch) do feel plasticy, in a lightweight probably negative sense. I am not sure it is really a hit against it though. I have no idea what kind of plastic they used and only time will tell how durable it is. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt because as a whole, they really did a great job designing and building this set. It is a blatantly obvious blend of performance, quality, common sense design (like the rubberized parts), aesthetic design elements and affordability. I just think they did an awesome job balancing all of those factors.

The impact wrench is more powerful than the one I already have, with similar specs. I did an unscientific test tightening and loosening nuts with each one (the other is a knock off) and the Arccaptain was a very clear winner. I think this is a great deal, having the batteries, charger and most common sockets for lugnuts in the case with the impact wrench.

The impact wrench is pretty heavy but it is balanced fairly well with the battery in. The center of balance lands at the trigger and I think that is just about perfect. I have small hands and I really appreciate the slim handhold. With the size and rubberized grip, it is easy for me to grip and keep a hold of. It also has the belt hook and I really don't like those without that hook, so I was pretty happy to see that as well. You have to screw the hook on yourself and I was worried the case would not close with it on but it does. Takes just a little extra encouragement though. This beefy impact wrench is gonna drag your pants down if you don't have a nice tight belt on because of all that weight. I really had no issues with it while using it and it felt like a pretty decent upgrade from what I had. Just the case alone is worth having this kit. I would suggest they put a piece of foam on the inside top part though. I probably will at some point.

There are several rubberized parts which help justify my claim of how awesome this is. Even the bottom of the battery is rubberized. The face is also, which helps protect your work as well as the impact wrench. There is a piece at the very top of the body that helps protect it from drops. The rear of the motor is NOT rubberized and I am sure that is because of the heat. Otherwise that is a missed opportunity there.

There is an easy to use battery level button on the battery and the light indicators are on the side, which are pretty cool and easy to see. I say "easy to use" because it is big and stands proud of the battery, as opposed to some that have tiny little circles that you have to dig a fingernail into to get it to work. There is also a battery level indicator on the impact wrench itself and it lights up every time you pull the trigger. You can always know at a glance how your battery situation is. The front work light stays on for about 20 seconds and is positioned well for the work. I always wish there were at least one additional light on top of drills but that is par for the course.

There are so many cool features on this kit that I appreciate. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to review this one. I review a lot of good stuff but I don't say this very often. I think this impact wrench kit earns every cent they are charging for it and even that is super reasonable.
