2T (Two-Touch): The 2T mode is the simpler of the two and requires two touches to operate. When using 2T mode, the operator presses and releases the trigger to start the cutting process. To stop the cut, the operator must press and release the trigger again. This mode is straightforward and is commonly used for shorter, quick cuts where continuous hand operation is not tiresome or difficult.

4T (Four-Touch): The 4T mode is designed for longer cuts and reduces operator fatigue by allowing for a latch-like operation. In 4T mode, the operator presses and releases the trigger to initiate the cut, similar to 2T mode. However, unlike 2T, the cutting process continues even after releasing the trigger. To stop cutting in 4T mode, the operator must press the trigger again and release it. This mode is particularly useful for long or complex cuts where holding the trigger continuously would be uncomfortable or impractical.

Each mode has its advantages and is suited for different types of cutting tasks, with 2T offering simplicity and 4T providing comfort for longer use.

The Cut55 Pro plasma cutter requires 3–5 CFM at 60 PSI.
